Permanent Jewelry
This hot trend is here to stay, and Bergeron Jewelers is here to guide you through the process. What is permanent jewelry? Inspired by friendship bracelets, chain is soldered with a pulse-arc welder directly around the wrist, neck, ankle or finger of the wearer. The process of fitting your bracelets, necklaces, and anklets is quick, painless, and the best part.. permanent. Never fuss over a difficult clasp again. Add charms and dangles to create unique, personalized jewelry that can be worn always.
Will it hurt?
No, the process of permanent jewelry does not hurt and only takes a few seconds.
IS it really permanent?
No, all gold is susceptible to natural wear and tear and damage. The good news is gold is also repairable and can be fixed and re-welded like new.
Will it affect diagnostic medical procedures?
Yes, if you’re getting something like an MRI scan then you’ll need to remove your jewelry. However, we offer the ability to get your bracelet re-welded after the fact for a small fee.
How do I take it off?
If you decide to part ways with your permanent jewelry, it can be removed as simply as a scissor snip or with wire cutters for thicker chains.
Prices start at $35 dollars per inch and go up depending on style of chain.
All permanent Jewelry is done using 14k yellow, white, and rose gold chain. Alternative options available for custom orders. Please reach out 2 weeks before your appointment for special orders.
